If you’re looking to start a business and want to succeed, do yourself a favor. Start by ditching apps from your smartphone. Most if not all of them. Trust me, you’ve never felt so good and especially so free. Get rid of Facebook, LinkedIn, Medium (you can look at it on your laptop), and I’m not even talking about TikTok, Instagram, and the like. Keep only the apps you REALLY, REALLY need. Your messaging, WhatsApp (for those who have it), your phone, and your geolocation, that’s it.

Why is this?

First reason: When you start, and if you go for a deep dive, there is no space for distractions.

Second reason: Most of these apps are useless. Their only purpose is to clutter your mind with crap. Honestly, what the hell do you care that so-and-so ate foie gras for Christmas? And what are you learning new? Everything you need to learn is mostly on YouTube where many courses are free. Not on Facebook, except maybe for cooking recipes, which you can learn elsewhere and when needed.
